Gap Golf Challenge – 4/5/13

The Central City Mini-Golf Challenge event

The Central City Mini-Golf Challenge was held on Saturday 4th May on the last weekend of the school holidays. The family-friendly, fun competition started at the Gap Filler Summer Pallet Pavilion (Cnr Kilmore and Durham Streets) and ran from 10am – 2pm with a prize-giving back at the Pavilion at 2.30pm. Players were encouraged to go by foot or cycle around the course so as to get a feel for the city as it is now. Putters and balls were available at each hole.

$5 (suggested) entry fee got entrants a scorecard and put them in the draw for spot prizes.
The holes will remain in place for as long as landowners are happy for Gap Filler to use their sites. The mini-golf holes can be used by anyone at any time. Where possible nearby businesses will put a club and balls out each day during the week for the public to borrow, they can be loaned from the Pallet Pavilion when the cafe is open (9-5 on fine days) otherwise come prepared with your own putter and ball.
